Your list captures all my memories of a year spent living in Toronto and traveling to most points east, west, north and south. From Wickaninnish, to St John's, to Niagara to Churchill.

Wow, that sounds amazing. I'm just researching my options. I'm going to Canada in October, so if you have any tips or ideas for travelling, let me know! :)

There's long distances to travel but lots of great things to see. How long are you there? And where do you start?

I've got a one year working holiday visa. I will arrive in Vancouver and then have one month before starting work in Whistler. Afterwards I want to finish travelling around BC and Alberta before going to the east coast for summer. That's what I'm thinking now anyway :)

That sounds like a great idea. In the west, I went from Calgary (and the July stampede) to Banff and spent a week in that area. Eventually went from Jaspar on the Skeena rail which is way cheaper than the Rocky Mountaineer. From Prince Rupert on a local ferry through the Inside Passage down to Vancouver Island. It was all fabulous. Then I had a summer month in the Maritimes - again fantastic.
