This Northeastern California Park is an active but dormant volcano that last erupted from 1914 to 1921. Lassen is one of only a few places in the world you can see and visit all 4 types of volcanoes in a single place (plug dome, shield, cinder cone, and strato volcanos). CM TRAVEL 4FUN advises clients this is not Yellowstone... this is a much more active place where you can better see and sense the power of volcanos. Lava Beds National Monument lets you visit the guts of a volcano... Lassen let's you stand on top of the real deal!
