Borobudur Temple

There's no doubt that the earlier you get to Borobudur, the better. I was told it opens at 6 a.m., but by 6:45 the droves of people had already started coming in. Turns out you can pay an extra $15 or so and arrive before the sun rises - a fact I wish I had known. In any case, this, the largest Buddhist temple in the world, is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're in nearby Jogjakarta.
