This is a hot spot for the expats where you can find plenty of western-style pubs and bars. However their atmospheres are absolutely nothing like a 'proper' British pub! Prices are ridiculous too. Hot tip: If you're not drinking alcohol but dining in these bars, there's a 7-11 in the area (bottom of the high street), where soft drinks are a fraction of the price. On a Friday night bar owners will never know your drinks are elsewhere! And you'll save yourself a small fortune. ;-)
