The rose gardens on Schonhauser Allee are stunning. This however had come up under a drainage down-pipe. I suspect it was planted there, because it is stunning. I took the photo to identify the plant, but I am quite taken with it, Still don't know what the flowers are...

29wYeah it does, but the foliage is a bit wrong. I did some research at the time and came up with either a mallow or a hollyhock. Hibiscus are a species of mallow. I think it is a hollyhock, as the pollen is sitting on the petals making it look more like a hibiscus stamen, but it's actually short and fat.
