I’m an amateur photographer based in Medway, and landscape photography is my real passion. Living in Kent means that I’m in the fortunate position of being able to find local inspiration from locations as diverse as traditional seaside towns with sandy beaches, beautiful woodland settings and castles steeped in history.
I find Kent to be a county with many different photographic opportunities within easy reach. One evening I can find myself on a beach at Reculver and the next week I could be in the depths of local woodland photographing a carpet of bluebells.
I use the Canon EOS system for my main photography but sometime a Smartphone can produce very acceptable results. The camera I use is the EOS 6D II and I have a selection of lenses to suit various situations.
My photography has developed over a seven year span; once over the technical learning of how to use a DSLR (Digital SLR) my knowledge and style have progressed by religiously making time to explore Kent and locations further afield. My favourite locations to date are Dungeness, Reculver beach and the wooded areas between Ashford and Faversham.
