Trover is photographers, foodies, and explorers, all excited to see your gorgeous photos of fun things to see and do. And with hundreds of thousands of discoveries from around the world, find yourself an instant virtual adventure in exotic locales or a real one right next door. Choose your own adventure.

If you don't have the mobile app, you can get it for free on iOS or Android. You'll be able to discover cool things nearby as you move around in real time. And of course capture and upload your own shots right there.

Getting Started on Trover

  1. Start by looking at What's Hot. These are great new photos uploaded just days ago by your fellow trovers. Feel free to thank or comment.
  2. Find one you like, and create your first Trover List. Just click the List icon on any discovery. Make a fun list or one for a future trip--or both!
  3. Now you know how to collect discoveries, time to add to the collection!

Uploading Your First Discovery

Congratulations! You're sharing a hidden gem that deserves recognition for being so awesome. We’re excited to see it!

On mobile, use the camera button. On the computer, click "Post a Discovery."

Choose and crop your discovery. We'll help geo-tag it so everyone can find it. Finally, write a short description about why this place rocked.

Do I Need a Smartphone to Use Trover?

No! You can share your discoveries as well as thank, comment and create Lists on Trover.com.

How Do I Get More Views and Thanks?

Make friends. Follow people you find interesting. Thank great discoveries, and add them to your Lists. Trover is a community of photo appreciators, so you just have to get people to notice them.

What Photos Get a Lot of Views and Thanks?

Although all kinds of photos can become popular, gorgeous photos of things to see or do are always on top. A beautiful swimming hole, a striking mountain range, an indulgent burger… good photography + fun activity = win.
