Pah Tempe Mineral Hot Springs. I believe these are the only hot springs along the Virgin River---the same river that carves through Zion Canyon. The site is privately owned. This photo doesn't capture the pools themselves---just the river downstream from where they flow. If it weren't for the "Keep Out" and "No Trespassing" signs plastered all over the place and the car in the drive I would have walked upstream to capture the pools themselves. I tried calling and nobody answered. Sorry folks. *Update* I met the owner---a very friendly guy---and he showed me the springs and pools. They are actually the only hot springs anywhere in southern Utah. The water rises two miles from the Hurricane fault into two caves. The springs themselves are overshadowed by the man made development, so I didn't take another photograph.
