Located at 4267 Roxbury Street in Simi Valley is the filming location for one of the scarier movies Steven Spielberg ever made. The house haunted by spirits in the 1982 film, Poltergeist.
I'm not sure I'd want to live here, myself. Some folks think the cast was cursed during the filming of this movie, considering that two of the children in this film died at a young age. The little girl, Carol Anne, was played by Heater O'Rourke who passed away at age 12 from cardiopulmonary arrest caused by intestinal stenosis. Dominique Dunne, who played the eldest daughter, Dana, was strangled to death by a jealous (and very abusive) ex-boyfriend at the age of 22.
That's damn spooky...
Remember, this is a private residence. Don't trespass on this property or bug the folks who live here. That ain't classy.
